1. The short version
PixelAudit is built so that we never see your data. Everything the extension captures — pixel requests, events, findings, reports — is stored inside your browser and disappears when you close it. The only thing that is ever sent to our server is your license key (a random string), to check whether Pro is active.
2. What the extension processes locally
- Network requests to a fixed list of known advertising-pixel endpoints (Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn) made by pages you choose to audit. These are observed, never modified or blocked.
- Tag-related JavaScript variables on those pages (pixel IDs, tag-manager containers, consent state, store platform).
- This data is kept per-tab in Chrome's session storage and is deleted automatically when the browser closes, when the tab closes, or when you press Re-test.
None of it is transmitted to the developer or to any third party.
3. License validation
If you activate a Pro key, the extension sends only that key to our license server (a Cloudflare Worker) to check its status. The server stores the purchase email you gave us when buying, the key, its plan and expiry date. No browsing data, no audit data, and no personal data beyond that email are ever attached.
4. Reports, CSV and Google Sheets export
Reports and CSV files are generated in your browser and saved to your computer. The optional Google Sheets export posts audit rows directly from your browser to a Google Apps Script you deploy on your own Google account — the data goes to your sheet, not to us.
5. Payment information
We sell directly (WhatsApp / email). We never see or store card numbers; payment happens through whatever method you and we agree on, outside the extension.
6. Cookies and analytics
The extension contains no analytics, no tracking, and sets no cookies. This website is a static page without trackers.
7. Data retention and your rights
Audit data: retained only in your browser session — we cannot retain it because we never receive it. License records: kept while your license is active; email usamajamil006@gmail.com to have your license record deleted at any time.
